Parental choice is a key component of the House Bill 1A. The parent/guardian selects the child
care provider. Families with child care needs often
have a lot of significant questions. Our Child Care
Resource and Referral staff are here to provide
answers. With a comprehensive data base of over 300
legal child care facilities, we can assist any member of
the community with their child care needs.
Families are provided with a list of
available child care by location, cost, curriculum,
staff ratios, educations programs and more. Trained
staff are available to assist families with finding the
child care arrangement that is right for them and to
link them with other services available within the
community.
Child Care Choice Services
is part of the statewide Child Care Resource and
Referral Network funded by the Florida Partnership for
School Readiness.
The CCR&R Network is administered by the Florida
Office of Early Learning which operates a variety of
programs that support quality early care and education,
including work/family solutions for the families of Florida.
Headquartered in Tallahassee, they serve as the
hub of the CCR&R Network of local child care resource
and referral agencies located throughout the state.
Child Care Choice Services
CCR&R service offers free information and referral services
to all families seeking quality early care and school
readiness programs and out of school time solutions.
CCR&R's also assist in the recruitment, startup and
support of providers and promote quality, availability
and affordability of services available in their
communities.
The CCR&R Network maintains the only comprehensive
statewide database of child care, inclusion, school readiness and
school age programs and service providers.
“There are no charges/fees associated with a provider
listing in the R&R database or for referrals to your
program. If you are asked to provide a payment for a
referral or for a listing in the R&R database, please
call the R&R Network at
1-866-FLREADY.”
