Notes from Carol

Just a little reminder to keep everyone safe and

happy this summer:

School is out and many of you providers have the opportunity to add children to your care. Please

remember your ratios and do not take in more

children than you should. You will need to add staff when you add children as long as you are not going over the number of people you should have in your facility. The ratio of staff to children is not only a very important issue for DCF, but it is a health and safety matter which needs to be taken very seriously.  Please remember that when enrolling children for summer.

Don’t forget Wednesday, June 11th. We will be meeting at the Leesburg Library at 11:30 am and 6:30 pm to sign contracts for the 2008-09 school year. There have been changes made to the calendar which will be explained so allow yourself a little extra time and do your best to arrive on time. We don’t want you to miss anything!
