Child Care
Choice Services
contracts with the Early Learning Coalition of Lake County to administer
the funds available for subsidized child care. Subsidy is provided to
families who meet specific eligibility requirements. Families pay a fee
for child care services based on a sliding fee scale determined by
family size and annual family income. If funding is not currently
available, a unified waiting list is maintained and eligible families
are added as of the date they call. An eligibility specialist discusses
all possible options with the family. If families have additional unmet
needs, the specialist refers them to other appropriate services.
